Life seems to allow time to carry Us on a constant pace, Pushing forward we go with it, Finding ourselves in a loss of 24 Hours gone, exchanged, For more time.
24 Hours, days, months, years, Processing energy, forcing, Fighting for our idea of contentment. Moving, always moved, Now to right now Presently, Here.
Standing still, running forward, Climbing ladders, cashing checks. 30 years lost but not forgotten; Running toward the finish. 60 minutes people, places, faces, breakfast, brunch, lunch, supper, And dinner. Starved; Craving something, although not sure what. Hungry to surmount the trials of times toxic poison.
30 years passed, bringing me into today, Still unaware of a cure. In retrospect I see you, me, they, them, her and him, Scarred by the beatings of times gouging cuts; Bruises leaving a reference, Forced to revisit time and time again?
Avoiding tears, stuffing pain, causing a life of resentment? As time continues. Forward. New. Different. Changing.
Left imprisoned by my past, To suffer in the present? Raises question to (Who are you?) WE. Us. ME. Where I was. Or wasn't.
Together or Alone. With you, without you. Here; left to try and understand; How to find time; AND LET IT GO.
